The Luxor Hot Air Balloon Tour lifts you above the West Bank at dawn, in the only place in Egypt where hot air balloons fly.
Your private car collects you from your hotel or Nile cruise before sunrise and takes you to the launch site on the West Bank. While the crew fills the balloons, you enjoy tea, coffee and a light snack, and your pilot gives a short safety briefing before you step into the basket.
As the sun rises, you drift for 30 to 45 minutes over the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon and the Ramesseum, with the hills of the Valley of the Kings behind and the green fields and the Nile below. After landing you receive your flight certificate, and your car takes you back to your hotel or cruise in time for breakfast. Private baskets can be arranged for couples and families.
Sunrise Balloon Flight over the West Bank
Your private driver collects you from your hotel or Nile cruise in Luxor before dawn and takes you to the launch site on the West Bank. Enjoy tea, coffee and a light snack while the balloons are prepared, followed by a short safety briefing from your licensed pilot. What happens if the flight is cancelled?
Flights depend on the weather and are confirmed on the morning. If the balloon cannot fly, the flight is moved to another morning or refunded.
Can children join the balloon flight?
Children aged six and over are welcome. Children under six cannot fly.
