A private journey worth the flight: unhurried itineraries with your own Egyptologist, a Nile cruise and a team that replies personally within five hours.
Egypt is a long way from Australia, which is why the trip deserves to be done well. Our Egypt tours from Australia are planned to give you time: a restful first day, enough days to see the south properly, and a pace that does not feel like a race against the flight.
Every journey is private, with your own guide, your own vehicle and hotels chosen for their position and character. We handle the transfers, entrance fees and the Nile cruise, and stay in touch on WhatsApp from your first message.
These are the itineraries Australian travellers ask about most. Most guests choose between ten and fifteen days.

There are no non-stop flights from Australia to Cairo. The usual routes are one stop in Abu Dhabi, Dubai or Doha, with total travel time of around twenty-one to twenty-two hours from Sydney. Check the airlines for current schedules.
We recommend a restful first day on arrival, and an itinerary long enough to justify the journey. Our team can suggest routings and arrival times that suit you.
International flights are not included in our prices, so you can use the airline and cabin you prefer.
Australian citizens need a visa for Egypt. You can apply for an eVisa online at the official portal, visa2egypt.gov.eg, or obtain a visa on arrival at Cairo airport. Your passport should be valid for at least six months.
Fees and rules change, so check the official site and the Smartraveller advice before you book. We are glad to guide you through each step.
Egypt's best weather runs from October to April, which lines up well with the Australian summer holidays. Days in Luxor and Aswan are warm and dry, and Nile cruises are at their best.
Australian winter, from June to August, is Egypt's hottest season. If that is when you can travel, we plan early-morning sightseeing and keep the afternoons slow.
For a trip this long, many Australian guests add a five-day journey to Jordan, covering Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. It saves a second long flight, and we plan both countries as one itinerary.
Prices are shown in US dollars. We are happy to give you the Australian-dollar equivalent when you book.
