Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
When you contact us, request a custom itinerary, or book a trip, we may collect the following: your full name and title; your email address and phone number, including WhatsApp where provided, for on-trip communication; your home address and billing address; your passport number and passport copy, where required for hotel check-ins, permits, or internal Egyptian travel documentation; your date of birth, where required for age-specific permits or activities; your payment information, including credit card details or bank transfer information; your travel preferences such as destinations, travel dates, accommodation style, pace of travel, dietary restrictions, and special occasions like honeymoons or anniversaries; any health, mobility, or accessibility information you choose to share with us so we can plan a trip suited to your needs; and emergency contact information for the duration of your trip.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address and approximate location, your browser type and device information, the pages you visit and the time spent on each page, and the referral source that shows which website or search engine directed you to us.
Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from travel advisors, partner agencies, or booking platforms when they refer you to us or arrange services on your behalf. We may also receive limited information from advertising and analytics partners, such as Google and Meta, in connection with our marketing campaigns.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to design, confirm, and manage your custom itinerary, hotel reservations, Nile cruise bookings, and private experiences. We use it to coordinate with our network of hotels, cruise operators, drivers, and licensed Egyptologist guides to deliver your trip, and to secure any permits or clearances required for specific sites, monuments, or restricted areas. We use it to process deposits and final payments securely, and to provide twenty four hour support during your travels, including responding to itinerary changes or emergencies. We use it to communicate with you before, during, and after your trip regarding bookings, confirmations, and logistics. With your consent, we may use it to send you travel inspiration, seasonal offers, or updates about our services. We also use it to improve our website, services, and the overall client experience, and to comply with Egyptian legal and regulatory requirements, including tourism authority and immigration reporting obligations where applicable.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share your information only where necessary to deliver the services you have requested. This includes partner hotels and cruise operators, to confirm and manage your accommodation; local guides, drivers, and transportation providers, to organize and execute your daily itinerary; payment processors and financial institutions, to securely handle deposits and final payments; Egyptian governmental and security authorities, where required for site access permits, safety clearances, or immigration purposes; and legal authorities, where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of iLuxury Egypt, our clients, or the public.
Each partner we work with is expected to handle your information responsibly and use it solely for the purpose of delivering your trip.
Payments and Booking Information
To confirm a reservation, we typically require a deposit, with the remaining balance due ahead of your travel dates. We accept payment by credit card and bank transfer.
Card payments are processed through a secure, encrypted payment gateway. iLuxury Egypt does not store your full card number on our systems once a transaction has been completed. Bank transfer details are used solely to confirm and reconcile your payment and are not retained beyond what is necessary for our financial records.
For full details on deposits, balance due dates, and cancellation refund percentages, please refer to our Booking & Payment Terms.
International Data Transfers
Because we are based in Egypt, any information you provide to us, including from the United States, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere, will be transferred to, stored, and processed in Egypt. By submitting your information to us, you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely, regardless of where it is processed.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and previous interactions with our site, to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve navigation and content, and to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns.
You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so may limit certain features of our website, such as saved preferences or personalized content.
Data Security
We take the protection of your personal information seriously. Our safeguards include SSL encryption across our website and all booking and inquiry forms, secure and access-controlled servers for storing client information, restricted internal access limited to staff directly involved in planning or supporting your trip, and secure, PCI-compliant handling of all payment transactions.
While we take reasonable and industry-standard measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including delivering your trip, responding to your inquiries, and complying with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Where information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
