Day 1 | Cairo – Gateway to Egypt
Arrive at Cairo Airport. Our meet-and-assist service will take you through the passport control area, assist with your luggage and customs, and transport you to your hotel in Cairo overlooking the Nile. Overnight: Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza
Day 2 | Dendera – Temple of Hathor & Cosmic Ceiling
After breakfast, drive to Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor. The temple is known for its well-preserved astronomical ceiling depicting the zodiac and celestial deities. Your Egyptologist guide will explain the symbolism and cosmic alignments carved on the temple walls. Enjoy a meditation session in the temple chambers before returning to your accommodation for dinner. Overnight: Desert Lodge near Dendera (B, L, D)
Day 3 | Abydos – Temple of Seti & Osirian Mysteries
After breakfast, drive to Abydos, one of Egypt's most ancient religious sites. Visit the Temple of Seti I, known for its detailed carvings including the King List and the Flower of Life symbols. Your guide will explain the Osirian rituals that were performed in these chambers. After lunch, return to your lodge for dinner. Overnight: Desert Lodge near Dendera (B, L, D)
Day 4 | Luxor – East Bank Temples & Sunset Rituals
After breakfast, check out and drive to Luxor. Check in at the Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor, a historic hotel overlooking the Nile. Visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 towering columns. Continue to Luxor Temple and observe how the sunset light illuminates specific sections of the temple. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight: Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor (B, L, D)
Day 5 | West Bank – Valley of Kings & Hatshepsut Temple
After breakfast, cross the Nile by motorboat to the West Bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings and enter selected tombs known for their detailed hieroglyphs and astronomical ceilings. Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, carved into the cliffs. Walk through the temple's colonnades before returning to your hotel. Afternoon free for leisure. Day 6 | Luxor to Aswan – Nile Cruise Embarkation
Morning at leisure. At midday, board your Nile cruise ship and check into your suite with private balcony. The cruise begins sailing toward Aswan. Enjoy the views from the sundeck as you pass by villages and landscapes along the Nile. Evening welcome reception and dinner onboard. Overnight: Nile Cruise (B, L, D)
Day 7 | Kom Ombo & Edfu – Dual Temples Reflection
Breakfast onboard as the cruise continues to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique dual temple dedicated to both Horus and Sobek. Continue sailing to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Return to the cruise for dinner. Overnight: Nile Cruise (B, L, D)
Day 8 | Aswan – Philae Temple & Felucca Meditation
Arrive in Aswan after breakfast. Take a motorboat to Agilkia Island to visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. After lunch, enjoy a traditional felucca sailboat ride on the Nile among Aswan's islands. Return to the cruise for dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight: Nile Cruise (B, L, D)
Day 9 | Abu Simbel – Cosmic Alignments
Optional early morning flight to Abu Simbel to visit the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, carved into the mountainside. The Great Temple is known for its astronomical alignment that allows sunlight to reach the inner sanctuary twice a year. Return to Aswan in the afternoon. Overnight onboard the cruise or at Mövenpick Resort Aswan. Overnight: Nile Cruise or Mövenpick Resort Aswan (B, L, D)
Day 10 | Departure via Cairo
After breakfast, transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. Depending on your international flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute leisure at a Cairo hotel before your final transfer to Cairo International Airport. (B)
